CTKO TAILGATING TIPS: GRILLED PIZZA

Grilled Pizza (using Pizza Stone)

Pizza Crust – store bought or homemade

1/4-1/2 cup Pizza Sauce

Favorite Toppings (we used green peppers, onions, Zeigler bacon, sausage, black olives)

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Insert pizza stone onto your grill, close the cover, and preheat over medium flames. Assemble pizza.
Once everything is heated, slide your assembled pizza directly onto the pizza stone. You may need the help of another small spatula to guide the crust onto the heated stone. Flouring the surface you make the pizza on will help it slide with ease. Close the grill cover.

Grill the pizza for 10-12 minutes, or to desired doneness, or when the outer edges are golden brown all the way around the crust.
